When your child plays Upward Basketball, He/She will be able to practice and play a game every week, get equal playing time, and develop new friendships.
Upward Cheerleading
Upward Cheerleading is a recreational and instructional cheerleading league promoting character, self-esteem, and Salvation.

About Upward
Upward is a fun, reliable, passionate and encouraging sports experience for boys and girls, in Kindergarten through eighth grade. Upward provides first class, organized and detailed sports programming in basketball and cheerleading.
Unique aspects of Upward include an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams as well as a substitution system which allows for equal playing time for all participants.Through Upward, children are exposed to quality coaching and sport development.
Upward emphasizes character and integrity instead of a "win at all costs" mentality associated with today's sports world. In addition to all of the previously noted benefits, Upward participants will receive sport specific Upward gear that serves to make the experience an even more memorable one.
Upward Basketball
Upward Baskeball is a league where every child plays, every child learns, and every child is a winner. When your child plays Upward Basketball, He/She will be able to:
1.) Practice and play a game every week
2.) Get equal playing time
3.) Learn techniques to improve his/her basketball skills
4.) Recieve special recognition awards after every game
Develop new friendships
Along with this unique sports experience, your child will recieve an Upward Basketball jersey, an End-of-Season award, and get to participate in the Upward Award's Celebration.
Upward Cheerleading
Upward Cheerleading is for children who may not be interested in participating in a basketball program. Specifically designed for children K through 6th grade, Upward Cheerleading seeks to develop the self-esteem of each participant, while teaching respect for authority, leadership, character, and cheerleading fundamentals.
What makes Upward Cheerleading different?
1.) Upward Cheerleaders train with coaches that will teach and encourage every child
2.) Upward Cheerleaders are exposed to Scripture-based devotions each week and halftime devotions for spectators each week.
3.) Upward Cheerleading allows for one hour long practice and one hour long cheering each week.

Registration: October 1st - November 7th
Evaluation 1:
Monday, November 2nd from 6-8pm (K-2nd)
Evaluation 2:
Tuesday, November 3rd from 6-8pm (3rd-5th)
Evaluation 3:
Thursday, November 5th from 6-8pm (6th-8th)
Evaluation 4:
Saturday, November 7th from 10am-12pm (All Grades)
** For registrations after November 7th, there will be an additional cost of $10. Scholarships will be available. The deadline for scholarship forms is November 7th.
